When the Spark arrives in showrooms it will be available in three well equiped trim levels starting at $12,995. Spark is a fuel-efficient, four-passenger, five-door hatch designed to excite first-time car buyers with bold styling, attention-grabbing colors – including Salsa, Jalapeno, Denim, Lemonade and Techno Pink (with Graphite Black an Additional $195 available )– appealing to driving dynamics, the tailored connectivity of MyLink, and the safety of 10 stock air bags. Spark also offers more passenger and cargo room than other mini cars such as the Fiat 500, Smartfortwo and Scion IQ.“With the Spark Chevrolet has the opportunity to connect with a new generation of car buyers who expect more from every product they purchase,” said Chris Perry, Vice President of Chevrolet Global Marketing. “So we wanted to make the process of choosing a Spark as simple as possible by reducing the number of stand-alone options and providing more standard content to each trim level at a competitive price.”

General Motors to announce that its 2013 Chevrolet Spark will be priced beginning less than $13,000 in the United States.
The five-door hatch micro car, which goes on sale during this summer, will begin at $12,995 for the LS model with a standard five-speed manual, according to the General Motors . It’s also offered in the 1LT and 2LT trim levels starting at $14,495 and $15,795.
“With the Spark, Chevrolet has the opportunity to connect with a new generation of car buyers who expect more from every product they purchase,” stated Chris Perry, vice president of global marketing for Chevrolet.
The LS Spark comes with a standard 1.2-liter Ecotec engine and features such as standard air conditioning and power windows. The 1LT model also includes LS model features and adds others such as a 7-inch color touch radio with a Chevy MyLink infotainment package featuring Bluetooth connectivity and audio controls on the steering wheel. A four-speed automatic transmission is available for $925 extra on all models. The four-passenger city car will be available in vibrant colors such as salsa, jalapeno, denim, lemonade and techno pink. It comes with ten standard air bags. Chevy MyLink in the Spark will feature Pandora Internet radio as a option.

Chevrolet recently announced it will produce an all- electric version of the Chevrolet spark mini-car the spark EV. It will be sold in limited quantities in select U.S.and global markets starting in 2013, including California. The spark EV offers customers living in urban areas who have predictable driving patterns or short commutes an all-electric option. Feedback from participants in Chevrolets electric vehicle demonstration fleets in shanghai (Sail EV),Korea (Cruze EV) and India (Beat EV) are being incorporated into the spark EV.
